• Notes on bike classes:
• Bikes are classified by chassis type, engine displacement, extent of modifications, etc.
• Conditions specified in the Tech Requirements section apply to all bikes, regardless of class.
• We reserve the right to move a bike up or down in class.
• We reserve the right to change class definitions at any time.
• Eligible machines listed usually represent only a small sample of bike configurations meeting that class. If you have questions regarding your particular configuration, or are thinking of buying a new bike, please contact us via the Contacts page.

• Definitions:
• GP Chassis: Sport-bike / race-bike configuration.
• Motard Chassis: Dirt bike frame but with street tires (no knobbies allowed).

• Supersport
• Frame:
• GP Style or Motard Style with original frame.
• Engine:
• Same type as original engine that came on your frame from the factory (cannot swap motor for another type).
• 2 stroke air cooled: 50cc max, with stock unmodified motor, carb, intake, air box, etc. Aftermarket or modified exhaust ok. Carb re-jetting ok.
• 4 stroke air cooled: 110cc max, with stock unmodified motor, carb, intake, air box, etc. Aftermarket or modified exhaust ok. Carb re-jetting ok. Conversion from automatic to manual transmission ok.
• Eligible machines include:
• Yamaha YSR50 with everything stock except for aftermarket exhaust and carb re-jetting.
• Kawasaki KLX110 with everything stock except for aftermarket exhaust, carb re-jetting, and manual transmission.
• Honda XR100 with everything stock except for aftermarket exhaust and carb re-jetting.

• MiniGP 50
• Frame:
• GP Style only.
• Engine:
• 2 stroke water cooled: 50cc max, with stock unmodified motor, carb, intake, air box, exhaust, etc. Carb re-jetting ok.
• 2 stroke air cooled: 60cc max, any other modifications ok.
• 4 stroke air cooled: 115cc max, any other modifications ok.
• Eligible machines include:
• Yamaha YSR50 with original motor bored out to 60cc max and modified, aftermarket carb and exhaust ok.
• Honda NSR50 with everything stock including exhaust. Carb re-jetting ok.
• Honda NSF100 with everything stock except for aftermarket exhaust and carb re-jetting.
• GP style bikes meeting requirements for Supersport Class.

• Formula 7
• Frame:
• GP Style or Motard Style.
• Engine:
• 2 stroke air cooled: 60cc max, any other modifications ok.
• 2 stroke water cooled: 50cc max, with stock unmodified motor, carb, intake, air box, exhaust, etc. Carb re-jetting ok.
• 4 stroke air cooled: 115cc max, any other modifications ok.
• Eligible machines include:
• Yamaha YSR50 with original motor bored out to 60cc and modified, aftermarket carb and exhaust.
• Honda NSR50 with everything stock including exhaust. Carb re-jetting ok.
• Honda NSF100 with original motor bored to 115cc and modified, aftermarket carb and exhaust.
• YSR50 / NSR50 frame with XR100 motor bored to 115cc and modified, aftermarket carb and exhaust.
• Bikes meeting requirements for either Supersport or MiniGP Classes.

• Formula 6
• Frame:
• GP Style or Motard Style.
• Engine:
• 2 stroke air cooled: 65cc max, any other modifications ok.
• 2 stroke water cooled: 60cc max, any other modifications ok.
• 4 stroke air cooled: 135cc max, any other modifications ok.
• Eligible machines include:
• Honda NSR50 with 2 stroke water cooled engine bored out to 60cc and modified, aftermarket carb and exhaust.
• Honda NSF100 with original motor bored / stroked to 135cc and modified aftermarket carb and exhaust.
• Kawasaki KLX110 with 4 stroke air cooled engine bored / stroked to 135cc and modified, aftermarket carb and exhaust.
• Bikes meeting requirements for either Supersport, MiniGP, or Formula 7 Classes.

• Formula 5
• Frame:
• GP Style or Motard Style.
• Engine (if running GP Style):
• 2 stroke water cooled: 65cc max, any other modifications ok.
• 4 stroke air cooled: 150cc max, any other modifications ok.
• 4 stroke water cooled: 125cc, any other modifications ok.
• Engine (if running Motard Style):
• 2 stroke air cooled: 81cc max, any other modifications ok.
• 2 stroke water cooled: 75cc max, any other modifications ok.
• 4 stroke air cooled: 150cc max, any other modifications ok.
• 4 stroke water cooled: 125cc, any other modifications ok.
• Eligible machines include:
• Kawasaki KX65 / Suzuki RM65 / Honda CR65 with 2 stroke water cooled engine bored out to 75cc and modified, aftermarket carb and exhaust.
• Kawasaki KLX110 with 4 stroke air cooled engine bored out to 150cc and modified, aftermarket carb and exhaust.
• RS125 with 2 stroke water cooled engine bored out to 65cc and modified, aftermarket carb and exhaust.
• RS125 with 4 stroke air cooled engine bored out to 125cc and modified, aftermarket carb and exhaust.
• Bikes meeting requirements for either Supersport, MiniGP, Formula 7, or Formula 6 Classes.

• Unlimited
• Frame:
• GP Style or Motard Style.
• Engine:
• 2 stroke: 85cc max, any other modifications ok.
• 4 stroke: 150cc max, any other modifications ok.
• Eligible machines include:
• Honda CR85 / Kawasaki KX85 with 2 stroke engine at 85cc and modified, aftermarket carb and exhaust.
• Honda CRF150R with 4 stroke engine at 150cc and modified, aftermarket carb and exhaust.
• Bikes meeting requirements for either Supersport, MiniGP, or any Formula Class.

• Motard
• Frame:
• Motard Style only.
• Engine:
• Same as Unlimited class.
• Eligible bikes include:
• Motard style bikes meeting requirements for either up to unlimited Class.

• Motard65
• Frame:
• Motard Style only.
• Engine:
• 2 stroke: 65cc max, any other modifications ok.
• Eligible bikes include:
• Kawasaki KX65 / Suzuki RM65 / Honda CR65 with 2 stroke engine at 65cc and modified, aftermarket carb and exhaust.

• Jr. Motard
• Frame:
• Motard Style only.
• Engine:
• 2 stroke: 80cc max
• 4 stroke: 110cc max
• Other requirements:
• All machines must have automatic clutch, stock engine and stock suspension.
• All approved 80cc 2-strokes with automatic clutch must run stock exhaust systems.
• Four-strokes up to 90cc may replace the exhaust system.
• Four stroke machines 91cc – 110cc must use stock exhaust and stock air box.
• With the exception of exhaust (4-strokes) and jetting changes, machines must remain stock.
• Wheel changes approved, with a 14" Maximum size.
• Handlebar may be replaced.
• Eligible bikes include:
• Honda Z-50
• Yamaha TTR-110
• Yamaha PW50
• Yamaha PW80

• Pocketbike / Super Pocketbike / Unlimited Pocketbike / Scooter

• RIDER CLASSES

• Notes on Rider Classes:
• Riders are classified by multiple factors such as age, weight, experience level, etc.
• Additional requirements are in place for minors, please see the Minors section.

• Experience:
• Novice
• Expert (If you or those around you think you are an expert.)

• Weight:
• Lightweight (Rider weighs less than 160 lb)
• Heavyweight (Rider weighs more than 160 lb)

• Age:
• 12 & Under (Rider younger than 13 years of age)
• Teens (Rider between 13 and 17 years of age)
• Adult (Rider older than 17 years of age)

• Combination:
• Dinosaur (Rider over 200 lbs or older than 39 years of age)

RACE STRUCTURE

• Notes on Race Structure:
• On most race weekends, TMGP will typically run two types of races: Endurance Race and Sprint Races.
• One endurance race is usually run on Saturday, and several sprints are usually run on Sunday.
• A novice class rider may participate in any race designated for expert class riders, as safety permits.
• A slower class bike may be ridden in any race designated for faster class bikes, as safety permits.
• Age requirements shall be applied as necessary to maintain safety.

• Endurance Race:
• Each endurance race typically lasts between three and eight hours (usually four), and simultaneously runs the following bike class - rider class combinations:
• Formula 7 – Novice
• Formula 7 – Expert
• Formula 6
• Formula 5

• Sprint Races:
• Sprint races typically last between six and eight laps (usually eight), with each race running one of the following bike class - rider class combinations:
• Supersport
• Scooter
• Formula 7 - Novice
• Formula 7 - Expert
• Formula 7 - Lightweight
• Formula 7 - Heavyweight
• Formula 6 - Novice
• Formula 6 - Expert

TMGP reserves the rights to:

• Cancel or shorten any races with inconsistent grids.
• Combine multiple classes to maintain grid consistency.
• Move any bike and/or rider up or down in class.
• Change class and race structure at any time.
